Yesterday afternoon I spent some quality time with this amazing family!! I have known them since their oldest was just around 5 or 6 years old. No, the father, is actually a cousin of my Itaosy family here in Tana.
I had spent some time with them back in December, before Christmas, but this time I brought my camera along to get some photos.
When I first met No and his family, Karen was attending my kids club I had started back in 2003. I would see them from time to time when they dropped Karen off. Over the years our friendship grew. There was a period of time when there wasn't much communication, but I still never forgot about them! So this time has been really amazing and fun to catch up on each others lives!
They are such a warm and welcoming family. They really are wonderful people.
Karen has a great eye for photography and loves taking photos, so she had a bunch of ideas as well for yesterday! It was great to not only take photos of her and her family but with her as well.
Karen is very talented!! Not only does she have a great eye for photography, but a love for music! She is gifted in playing the guitar as well as the piano and an amazing singer!
They are renovating part of their house. When Karen bought into the rooms though, my eyes got really wide and I was kind of excited!! The rooms being renovated made for an awesome backdrop!!
Karen told me this was her first photo session, and she was so excited!! I'm glad that I had the privilege to photograph her and her family!
You are so much fun to be around Karen!
really love this blue wall!! The photo above is my personal favorite!!
I loved seeing the love Karen has for her brothers, you see the bond between them is amazing!
I love this shot of Kevin (pictured above)!
Thanks again you guys for welcoming me into your home! I will always remember our time together! I will never forget you guys!! Love you all!
