This past week I went to Asheville, NC with some of my family. I had been there a couple of years ago but didn't have a lot of time. It was great to spend a couple of days there and see more of the city and it's surrounding beauty. I loved all the green beauty around.
We also took my Grandmother (Momo, 89) to Billy Graham's conference center, The Cove. She had never been there before and enjoyed every minute of it. We didn't stay too long, looked around, but I could see that it was the highlight of our trip.
There was a lot of art in this city. One place we went to had a lot of outside art and different kinds.
As we walked along some cool small streets, we came across a small store, where, in the window, were some interesting looking European things. With my love for Europe (as well as my Aunt's), we decided to go in. We didn't find anything we wanted to buy, but we had a nice (well, extra long, like 25 minutes) with the store owner. She really talked our ear off, but we found out some very interesting facts about Asheville. She did tell us about a place that we checked out that was pretty cool, Grove Park Inn. It was a huge fancy hotel, and also had some different free galleries that we checked out.
